Well it was an early morning stroll through old downtown Jeff City at around 3:30-4 A.M. that ended a pretty good week and started off a great weekend. I say pretty good because of all the cold wet weather I managed to relapse back into the cold and crud that I was getting over. I had the awesome privilege of playing with my friend Adam at New City Cafe's weekly Open Mic night basically anyone who wants to play can come and play whatever whether original work or cover so we played an oldie but a goodie by Caedmons Call and a song that Adam and I always play "April Showers". So Friday came and went and Adam, Andy and I spent the evening watching Dead Poets Society and drinking espresso a hallowed pasttime of ours. After the movie we took a walk through downtown Jeff City another pasttime of ours so needless to say I was very tired after that so all was left was to crash til a later time of the morning. I headed home to chill at my house for the day. I managed to take my car to Jiffy Lube and get swindled...I got my oil changed yes but since I'm such a trusting person I said yes to all the other recommendations that they suggested I get done to my car. I spent the evening with the tradition that many Tennesseans have...yes the 3rd Saturday in September Tennessee vs. Florida it was a good game a real clincher. with Tennessee prevailing in the end by 3.
Oh I almost forgot I have to esteemed pleasure on Thursdays and Fridays of waking up at 5:00 A.M. why you ask well I took a work study job in the SAC (Student Activities Center for none CN folk) I open all the facilities that students use i.e. weight room, game room 3 gym area racquetball courts, and walking track. So after that hoopla I'm more that wiped out. But hey I'm getting paid for it and all I need to do is go to bed early on those days which I seem to be doing anyway.
